Function "dashing" doesn't work

Hi, during the game the function "dashing" (Maiusx in the keyboard and B botton in the controller) doesn't work.
Instead in the tutorial everything is ok, Maiusx and B botton work perfectly.
Now i'm stuck at mission 9 because to destroy the wall underwater I've to use the dashing Maiusx or B botton...
What can I make?

You can either change the command to a different key or mouse button (I use MB5 or F) If the dash does not work underwater, you may not be close enough to the wall to break it.

This is not a new topic, others have asked the same ??? before. I had suggested to include the blood punch when going thru underwater walls. A friend had said it was not needed, but I still do it out of habit. Try that, it may or may not work for you.

Sorry, how can I include the blood punch when I go thru the underwater walls? The only movement of the Slayer underwater is only to swim. Anything command with his hands is not possible. I must find the way to make the maiusx or B button on the controller work...

No, Maiusx and B button for dashing don't work never in every level. They work very well only in the tutorial. I controlled the settings also on Steam, I tried to change the command in the keyboard and to change the button in the controller but dashing function don't work...
It is the only problem of the game, it is perfect, in fact until 9 mission I had no problems...

It is impossible to get to level 9 without dashing. Are you using cheats to skip platforming? Or did dash just stop working in this level?

Yes, I' m using some cheats from the third level.
But also without any cheats , starting the game in original dashing doesn' t work...

So you might have messed up your game. Try to check file integrity. Dash is a very important function, not only for platforming, but also in combat. You don't need cheats, learn to play. And for some mindless fun you can always use the official cheats in level replays.

As you say a corrupt file could be a chance. I would try to unistall and reinstall the program with the risk of loosing everything.
However I thank you Hundinger for your advices of a Pro Player.

I'm not a pro player. But if you want to learn the game, you should play it as intended.

Before you reinstall try checking file integrity. Maybe that will help and save you a lot of time.

I found the problem! The dashing is an acquired power! Playing the second level "Exultia" I didn't found the activator of this function. Now it's all ok, I've destroyed the wall underwater and I can go on. Sorry for this my lack and thanks so much to all of you for your help!

How the hell did you miss that? And playing the game without it must suck, even if you can cheat yourself through platforming sections.

I had no idea he was using cheats. I tend to expect better of people. Thats a good question. How the hell can you miss something you can't get past to continue. Unless your using cheats. Sorry I commented in the 1st place.
