Achievement issues after Bethesda.net transfer

I recently transferred my copy of Doom Eternal and save files from Bethesda.net to Steam and I recently started replaying the game on Nightmare difficulty. For some reason though Steam achievements don't seem to be working properly; after beating the first two levels and the first slayer gate, the only achievement I ever got was "Darn it, they keep breaking". I tried quickly going through Hell on Earth again on a different save slot and I still didn't get the "Doomsday" achievement.

Any clue how what's causing this or how to fix it? For the record when I played on Bethesda.net I beat the campaign and the two DLCs.

going over again on a fresh save wont work

it seems that you have to manually delete the %USERPROFILE% data for D.E
and re-install the game again
which means you'll lose your in game level and settings, customization, pref.

i haven't done it yet.
im practicing for ultra.nightmare im gonna re-install the game
once i finish my first U.N Run

I'm pretty sure that works, but I'm really not OK with losing my profile progress.

I've tried that a few days ago and unfortunately for me it didn't do anything, I'm just to assume there is not going to be any fix found soon but will keep checking this thread and post if I find anything

Even if that worked (reportedly it doesn't) then it's a major case of cure being worse than the illness. It's up to Bethesda/Steam to fix this problem, not for us to lose progress.

yeah I don't care for my profile level too much, but I still have the stuff I unlocked, and I dont want to get rid of it. That's a pretty bad fix tbh.

yeah i'm just going to ignore it given they really should be the ones adding an easy trigger for the fact we did it already like 2 years ago. cause i'm sure as hell not redoing some of that hard ♥♥♥♥ again

Update I was able to earn at least on achievement: Darn it, They Keep Breaking. I started a new game and proceeded to glory kill about 50+ enemies instead of the 33 required. I have no idea why some counted and others didn't.

There still seems to be bugs as the achievement for using 1 crystal to unlock a power-up did not register in the fortress. I am discussions with Bethesda via a ticket. Will try to update whenever relevant here.

That was one of the only ones I got - my profile is private but that's the only one i unlocked after maybe 10/15 kills but nothing else popped, this is in my opinion a serious bug or corrupt data issue but I can't pinpoint any method to fix it, and I shouldn't have to, it shouldn't be an issue, hundreds of games and even the worst allow me to get an achievement whether i care or not, but not a AAA game

Yeah this seems to be one of the few ones that DOES work. It's really weird like that.

DLC achievements seem to work, haven't done the Ultra-Nightmare ones though (and I won't because ♥♥♥♥ Dark Lord)

Did you already have them unlocked? AFAIK the issue isn't that achievements don't unlock. it's that you can't reunlock achievements that you unlocked pre-transfer.

Some yes, some no. Extra Life Mode achievements were new, but Codex Pages etc were previously unlocked.
