Achievements are not unlocking after the Bethesda.net transfer
So after the transfer from Bethesda Launcher I was fully ok with playing the game all over again, just to get these achievements again. But through that I found out that some of them just won't re-unlock after I do what I should do to get them. For example I beat the Horde Mode even twice and still got nothing. Probably because the game already thinks I did it before...

Anyone having the same problem here?

So I submitted a ticket to bethesda support, they replied saying to try moving the steam saves to a different folder which I did (and disabled steam cloud save sync to make sure). And can now confirm my steam achievements are unlocking

Just curious, where exactly did you place your DOOM saves folder? Like did you still keep it in the user data for STEAM or something else entirely?

My work around from the big thread on this topic, Bethesda won't fix it.

Idk if there have been any updates for the game recently, but AFAIK this issue is still there.

I have however managed to fix it my end, I turned off cloud saves and renamed my USERPROFILE folder. It's found at \Steam\userdata\yoursteamid\782330. I just renamed my original 782330 folder so I can keep the saves as backups.

I then relaunched the games, it said my saves were corrupt, so I deleted them all (there weren't any there to delete, but still) and relaunched the game. I lost my settings and my MP "level", but I kept all my cosmetic unlocks, titles, backgrounds etc.

I then ran through the opening level on Nightmare and, like magic, I got the achievement.

So this seems to fix it, and the only thing you lose is something that doesn't really matter imo.

Edit: Am currently having problems getting the game to save, so am re-installing to see if that fixes as normal fixes aren't working.

Edit 2: Can confirm that reinstalling has fixed the save issue. I can save and I just unlocked Crystal Craving on getting my first SC, so all is good :)

Edit 3: I was still having issues with actual game progress saving even though profile info was saving, I re-enabled cloud saves and, getting the conflict window, I kept local saves over cloud saves. This fixed my campaign progress not saving, looks like DE doesn't really function without cloud saves. Still need to test whether achievements still work, but I think they probably will. If they don't I'll post another edit.

This worked for me. I didnt had problems with savings, so i turned cloud saves back on and it seems to work. Got achievments with my new savegame on the cloud.
Thank you very much!

So, do I get this right, to use the saves workaround, wether moving or renaming the folder, I'd have to complete the entire campaign again to get all the missing achievements? I just today finished the base game 100% and I'm missing a lot of the according achievements.
