I personally think that Master levels should have been a game mode on it's own to avoid these issues.
It is very annoying but it's probably too much work at this point to get working, it should have been done better at first but I doubt they had any idea of how master levels would be post launch.
45 minute
the Rocket Launcher bugged out so I had a maximum of 9 rockets instead of 13

It would be great if the option was there, but I love the relentless feeling. If you hold anything back, you struggle, and if you don't have enough you get tired. That's really cool to me and I love it.
Poo poo the endurance aspect of it if you like, but that's a characteristic of these MLs and it's great.
Nice cop-out, but I'm 100% not a professional gamer. You can see vids of play yourself and see that I'm not amazing at this game.
But if I sit down with a spare hour and want content that pushes me and gets to the point, it doesn't get much better than an ML. I can't save scum it and I get to flex my skills and endurance. So the argument definitely applies to me, because it's content designed the way I want.
If I don't have time, I'll do a Blood Swamp run or something.
What makes you think that?
I mean hell, a quake reboot with master levels on top would be sick. Especially if they keep and improve rocket jumping for mobility instead of something like a meathook. As Mobility is probably the best thing in this game, and while i do want other id games to have sick mobility options - i don't want it to be a repeat of the previous games. ID games being different is what makes them all worth replaying imo.
Yes, you don't need save points so no one does.
We get it - it is easy for you and you are skilled at the game. Try to be a bit more humble about it tho. After all - most regulars here have done that aswell, no need to constantly show it to everyone. It's useful when someone who is a complete knobhead about the game - but this thread is about an actual flaw with the game. And while it might not be a big flaw or anything that serious - we gotta be able to critique even the things we think are great.
So i guess its never gonna happen
And btw if they are make save point to the master level then its lose the spirit, Hugo even said master levels is not for everybody, dlc is for everyone
So if you are not have time to complete a level in 1 hour or something then just simple not start the level, play when you have time
