Is tag 1 or 2 more challenging than normal sp on un

So i might do tag 1 and 2 for un and i beat the single player on un took me about 40+ hours to beat it on un and just wondering if its any more difficult to beat tag 1 or 2 on un. I beat tag 1 and 2 on nightmare. I want to take my "Skill" to the next level will tag 1 or 2 do that? I agree its more difficult than normal single player but there is less levels. so is tag 1 and 2 really any more challenging than normal sp on un and worth the stress that is un for just a bunch of skins? tell me?

Hey thanks man for the response I just looked up that tag 1 is the more difficult one

TAG 1 will test everything you learned in the base game but with extra layers on top. TAG2 is sort celebration of the franchise rather than something meant to be overly hard.

Some master levels are harder than both.

I have only played them on Nightmare, but TAG 2 is definitely easier than TAG 1 so the same should still hold true when playing Ultra Nightmare. Most of the hard encounters in TAG 2 are optional, there are considerably less spirits, there are those encounters that just give you a lot of X resource and make you fight enemies that are weak to it, and Davoth is a pretty easy boss.
And on top of all that you get the hammer.

If you've beat base game on UN - then TAG1 and 2 are going to be a breeze tbh. TAG1 tests your skills, TAG2 tests your abuse of the hammer. Both are way easier to do on UN than base campaign due to: Them being shorter and having your full kit. It took me 3 tries to beat TAG1 on UN, 2 tries to beat TAG2.... and a good 100h combined of tries for base campaign.

TAG1 being shorter wasn't really helpful for me, it was still harder and it took more tries than main campaign. It was more fun though. I didn't experience any deaths past level 3 in main campaign but a death late in the run would probably be a lot more frustrating than in a 3 level campaign so probably a lot more stressful as well. TAG2 is too easy especially after TAG1.
