AMD Driver Timeout - Crashes Game

Every time I play the game, it eventually crashes, AMD stating 'Driver Timeout' as the issue. Here is a list of things which crash/freeze the game:
-Launching the game
-Alt-Tabbing while launching the game
-Navigating the main menu
-Pausing the game
-Navigating the pause menu
-Selecting a save game
-Playing a save game
-Switching mods in the weapon wheel
-Alt-Tabbing in general
-Playing the game
-Nothing
-Closing the game

I have a good PC build that can run every game I've played at high settings with over 60 FPS, this one included. My older build with significantly weaker hardware could run this game at medium settings with over 60 FPS and no crashing.
My specs:
-AMD Radeon RX 5700XT 8 GB VRAM
-AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
-2x8 GB Corsair Vengence Memory 4000MHz
-2 TB SSD

I have recent drivers, and the game ran perfectly when I first launched it today. I believe this is an AMD GPU issue, because I never had any problems resembling this on my older NVidia GPU and AMD CPU.

So I ask, is there any way to fix this? Or am I doomed?

ok so I swapped out my 6700xt for my rx580 just to see if its some issue with newer cards. played for about 20mins before a total lock up. So its gotta be a driver issue I'll try reverting back to an older driver for both cards to see what happens.

Nothing wrong with your card trust me, it's just AMD going thru driver hell right now, probably even the driver engineers are frustated right now.
If you have the experience try linux you may have better luck that way, i believe Doom Eternal even runs better on linux but i could be wrong.

yeah its totally a driver issue. I used 22.5.1 and had no problems. I could try it on linux but thats a whole can of worms I don't want to deal with.

I Still Get The Same Thing Trying to Play The Game. Only way for me to play it is right after turning on the PC with no other apps running and not alt-tabbing. Wondering if anyone else still facing the problem ?

If been waiting 1 year for AMD to fix the system freezes with world of warcraft since 22.5.2 that does not happen on 22.5.1, good luck guys AMD loves to ignore bug reports, you may as well spam them dialy so they have motivation to fix it cos its the only way to silence complaints

So I spend like 1 and a half hour in the first few levels, don't have any crashes yet.
I will see if I can get back to the game this weekend, currently busy with Rusted Moss.

Dawg! This is really beginning to frustrate me. Running a 5800X, 32GB Ram, and a 7800XT and this crap is happening to me. This didn't start happening until I reached the end of the game, and now I can't even finish because this crap keeps locking up and giving me this error. I can't figure out wtf is causing this and it's really bumming me out.

This game also has glitches that only visible if you have anything other then 16:9 aspect ratio like 16:10 or 32:9 or 24:10 or 21:9 etc glitches go away as soon you select 16:9 again

This game is pretty much abonded by devs, i would assume some devs have played the game on AMD hardware as well

The glitches tho from my understanding also happen on NVIDIA hardware but i could be wrong.

Send them your bug report nag them about it, or post about it on guru3D forums driver thread where vanguard users are actually reading feedback.
