TAG 2 has the hammer which will make any encounter a breeze
not beign an elitist, is just that the porpuse of the game is to be replayed
If you get hit, you start running and bunny hopping with either heavy cannon or plasma rifle before you find a 1-2 fodders that you can hit, flame and glory kill. Rinse and repeat.
If you move around, nothing, nothing can hit out outside of a few specific encounters, like the two tyrants in a narrow corridor.
I'm a casual and the things some people do here look like magic to me but Nightmare is just "mash space and random direction to not get hit while glory killing and spamming guided rockets, chaingun shield and flaming hook to survive".
Some encounters and slayer gates especially take a while to do this way, since you make mistakes and spend 50% of the time running away and healing, but it just takes concentration, not skill.
tag2 however is really really bad.
maybe but the end of tag2 is really really bad like abysmal bad.
you really liked the "dark" lord lol
you gotta admit dark lord was quite cringy.
I don´t even talk about the fight mechanics, just how he shows up and how he looks.
I haven´t even played it, just watched a bit on yt, can´t be bothered to play such crap really...
quite poor ending IMO.
it´s okay if you liked it though.
To answer your question, TAG2 is easier, or, how to phrase it, has more diversity in pace. There are occasional difficulty spikes, like double Marauder battle with Screechers, but easier and harder battles vary, not every battle is so straight in your face, like in TAG1. But seriously. Take this in-game tip into consideration: "but more demons because it is a DLC". Unlike base game, DLCs tend to be aimed to the fans of the game instead of a random target group. And fans will have expectations, they will soon get bored on underpopulated and boring maps.
better 40 demons than 4. If you have a hard time, lower the difficulty. More demons = more fun = more gameplay.
Just spawn kill them as soon as they spawn.
