What are your go to combos for certain monsters?

I will always freeze bomb an archvile or a cyber mancubus. I will also freeze bomb a cyberdemon when I feel it is appropriate. For an archvile, I will use lock on rockets until the freeze bomb wears off and then go energy shield chaingun or shotgun/Ballista. For cybermancubus, I will blood punch once I ice bomb then pop off one SSG shot. For the cyberdemon, I just do basic SSG/Ballista combos.

Hell Knights and Whiplashes will almost always be on the receiving end of a lock on rocket.

Super shotgun with meat hook most of time, grenades no ice bomb, no health armor upgrades/weapon upgrades. Game is just to easy once you start using all of your weapons together with fully upgraded health and armor. alot more fun this way when your just flying around all the time having fun.

PB+balista for cacos and pain elementals, frag falter + 2x lock on for archies, PB+rocket/PB+SSG for Tyrants and barons, PB+Balista for dreadknights, PB+Balista+PB+SSG for mancubus. Destroyer blade for whiplashes and carcass. Lots of stickies for regaining stacks. Everything else just kinda goes by the flow.

there are no combos. quickswitching is not a combo. besides that, i like to either do ballista+double barrel+rocket launcher+heavy cannon quickscope+rinse and repeat. another thing i like to do is equip chaingun with Mobile Turret, then click and hold m2 and then m1.
another another thing i like to do is spam lock on burst rockets.
ANOTHER ANOTHER ANOTHER thing i like to do is just shoot at it repeatedly with the double barrel

one of my bigger damage combos is SS + Ballista or SS + RL.

• Rocket>PB>ballista - Cacos (Instant stagger)
  
• SSG>Frag>ChaingunPersonalShield>Dash>Flame Belch>Blood Punchx2 - Marauder (Consistent 2 cycle if you follow up with almost any combo)
  
• Microwave Beam>Frag>Rocket>PB - Possessed Demon (switch rocket with SSG depending on range)
  
• Meathook>Blood Punch (top of head)>SSG - Cyber Mancubus
  
• ChaingunPersonalShield>Dash>Blood Punch x 2 - Whiplash

Since the Blood Punch fix I've been using it heavily with the punch and reave rune and have discovered a whole new layer of how bonkers it is.

i find it to be a crutch thats why i dont use it. i wish i didnt look at it like that, but i just cant help it. i never use the BFG nor unmaykr for the same reason. im also starting to think the dash ability is a crutch

Can't tell if serious, but using Blood Punch effectively relies on using resource management and knowing when it's safe to move into melee range.

It's definitely not a crutch, and if you use BP poorly or aren't paying attention you get obliterated real fast.

I'd say if anything it's just a playstyle.

I got to say I always forgot Bloodpunch was a thing in the game, until I started playing the Horde Mode mods. That ♥♥♥♥ brute forced the BP into my rotations in the base/DLC's.

You guys are far too calculated, I just swap weapons to whatever one my fingers manage to hit first and make it work. "Combos?" How does Microwave+PB+Ballista+Rocket+SSG+Microwave+stickyspam+Chaingunshield+bloodpunch... sound to you? Yeah, I don't understand combos, I'm just a multi-weapon spamming disaster.

For cyber mancubis I will either ice bomb blood punch ballista. Or fire a few rounds of plasma or heavy cannonthen remote rocket bloodpunch ballista.

SSG ballita is my fall back combo....but my fav right now is rocket PB rocket
