and make sure you don't have any vsync or fps caps in any third party applications or radeon options.
Damn, still locked at 60fps. Thing is, i dont get why i have 144fps on cutscenes and 60 on menues and gameplay
Yes, I can play every other game @144hz and @144fps. Just a couple of hours ago played CSGO on 144hz @300fps
Its a Doom Eternal problem, because when I click escape and "pause" the gameplay i get 144fps, but as soon as i go back to gameplay instant lock @60fps
do you have resolution scale off?
Windowed, borderless and fullscreen same effect and if i alt tab and look at the monitor settings, it still is @144hz, i can even notice it while scrolling in windows 10
Tried:
Vsync: Off, On, Adaptative, Triple Buffering
Resolution Scale: Off, Static, Dynamic @144 --> Produces a blur and nothing more
Freesync: Off, On, neither did work.
Unpluging my second monitor and controller (yes, this piece of ♥♥♥♥ game has that problem too)
Setting my FPS in AMD Driver @144 max and 120min. No changes there, the monitor is using 144hz, but the game still runs at 60fps in gameplay
Im tired, I've spent a whole month working to get this monitor and this piece of ♥♥♥♥ game has an incredible stupid bug.
Reminder, the game is LOCKED @60fps in gameplay and menues, it only goes higher when i pause the game, then I have instant 144fps and 144hz.
♥♥♥♥ this
if i disable vsync then the game runs at 200+ fps.
Yeah me too. I've literally tried everything, i dont know what else could it be, and if it is a hardware problem, why other games work correctly? Im at a loss of words
does radeon have something like nvidia control panel where you can either put it on default settings or toggle on/off things like vsync / triple buffering / framerate caps? i haven't had a radeon card in over a decade so it's hard for me to suggest things.
Yes it does, but everything is disabled. Vsync, Freesync. And i deleted the Doom Eternal/base folder as you said so no older config making trouble there i think
also, is it connected to hdmi or displayport? i've heard hdmi has issues with higher than 60 fps.
