About the denuvo removal
I played and finished the game a year and a half ago before they implement denuvo on it. Recently, I noticed some friends talking about the new dlcs on DOOM Eternal and wanted to check up on it, I learned the denuvo has been removed ages ago from this game but in the store page it says it's still there(?). The patch notes say to uninstall denuvo from windows apps normally as it is not needed but my question now is: If I download and install this game again, will I get denuvo with the newest update regardless?

denuvo anti cheat was removed.

denuvo anti tamper has always been there

Wait, this is confusing. They removed the anti-cheat which was to prevent cheaters in online and basically "better option" but they kept the anti-tamper which prevents the game to be cracked while it already is cracked?

"Denuvo's Anti-Cheat and Anti-Tamper software has been removed from Doom Eternal and Metro Exodus respectively. ... However, Doom Eternal executive producer Marty Stratton clarified the decision to remove Denuvo Anti-Cheat was made with the single-player experience in mind, and was unrelated to the game's performance."

Found this searching online, I think it's safe to say anything denuvo related has gone from this game, thankfully. Assuming this is true.

the base game was released drm free by mistake, so it was "cracked" right away. tag 1 and tag 2 both have denuvo and aren't cracked.

no, both the campaign and the dlcs have denuvo anti tamper, not anti cheat. those are two different things.

no, both the campaign and fhe dlcs have denuvo anti tamper, not anti cheat. those are two different things.
This. They removed anti cheat, which is kernel-level driver, and no one wants that ♥♥♥♥.
The other thing the game still has is Denuvo Anti-Temper, which is, putting it simple, code obfuscation to hinder crackers.. and that is fine.
