It is more likely we would see crossplay on Xbox than PS, but I wouldn't hold your breath on it.
In my experience, there are more absolutely terrible PC players incapable of moving and shooting at the same time than there are even passably decent ones.
Most of the time, assuming it ever gets crossplay, the matchups should be pretty even - console players who can't shoot and move because controller, and PC player who can't shoot and move because bad.
I didn't say that.
You technically did. Even if such thing were the case id be opposite. Your average joe who doesnt game often and wants it to sit on couch, get stoned with friends, eat chips and play game casually to chill is ten times more likely to buy a console where as someone who wants to play game alone, get immersed and get most out of it and intends to play games often is more likely to buy a pc. I mean Idk and idc frankly, it could maybe work cuz doom doesnt have that much hitscan guns or twitchy shots to be made but all Im saying is a average-great console player barely stands a chance against average-great pc player. Since it would allow nore ppl for matchmaking and to play with console/pc friends I'm up for it. But I hope they focus on adding invasions, master levels and such beforehand.
