Confusion on which version to buy.
i've never seen a more confusing store page, if i wanna play DOOM Eternal with Ancient Gods part 1 and 2, which one should i buy?

deluxe.

it has everything, campaign and both dlcs.

Yeah, if you buy Deluxe you essentially get one of those DLCs free.

Deluxe. Both DLC's are awesome although honestly the ancient gods 2 is more in line with the camapaigns difficulty, part 1 is hard as nails.

Plus you get the demonic slayer skin

it's $45 for the deluxe.

buying the campaign + tag 1 would cost around the same but you'd be getting one dlc less and you wouldn't get the deluxe bonuses. what would be the point of doing that?

no, that has to be bought separately regardless.

Get the Deluxe edition for $45 to get the entire game: base + DLC 1 + DLC 2. Rip and Tear pack is extra $5, with additional master level (challenging remix of level 3: Cultist Base), and a couple cosmetic items. It's not a must have, imo, and can be purchased whenever you want. You already get two master levels for free, when you purchase the game, and get to a certain point in the campaign.

Oh, and I like your stance on bad advice. DLC 2, while not as good as DLC 1 from the level design. plus challenge standpoints, is still very enjoyable. It also provides closure to the campaign that you'll be missing out on. id software has always been community friendly, and they're already working on getting master levels out for DLC 2, for those who complained.
