Super Gore Nest Master Level Trouble - Acid Marauders
I was working my way through SGN master on ultra violence. It was really hard but really fun. Until I got to the double marauders in acid. I can deal with marauders, even double marauders like in the DLC 1. But in that corridor, with acid and I only start the checkpoint with half health. I couldn't do it. I must have tried 20 times. They take so much damage and you can only shoot at certain times. I almost had them down and the AI just refused to attack me and I melted. It was infuriating. The encounter is so much harder than anything else in the level. Any tips of how I can beat them? I use ssg balista combo but I dont really have any other tricks.

It's important to often get to the rad suit refill. Use your meathook to jump over the marauders if you are on the wrong side and want to get there. Make use of the fodder on the way. The toxic waste is really your biggest concern.

What got me through was reminding myself every 5 seconds to refill the radsuit, i often would forget and take damage from the acid...and if you take damage from BOTH the marauders and the acid, it's game over.

There's always some demons roaming there to refill armor and ammo, wait one of them to flash his eyes, shoot him a bit, refill radsuit, and repeat. Can't rush that section. And be aware of corners, try to keep them both somewhat close to each other so you don't get sandwiched, they rush you to one side of the corridor, go around them and dash away and repeat.

As soon as you stun the first one use bfg then you can handle the other 1vs1

I found myself going back and forth doing laps around the outer edge nukage pit: going near the door on the far side, looping around to collect the rad suit powerup, going to the other end of the pit, and so on, mostly using the Flamehook as a means to move around and grab some health and armor from zombies. Once I had the pattern down it took only about two tries, but until the puzzle is more "How do I manage the radsuit's durability and my health?" and not "How do I fight both these guys in this tiny little space?"

Wait, is this the same place where there is two Tyrants (at least on HMP)? Just after you enter that room that kinda looks a bit like the first Starting Area in Doom? I have a hard time with those Tyrants, man x.x, also not fun to have to redo the fight just before each time. Maybe I did a mistake trying out the Classic Mode at first though >_<

Oh this part kicked my ass too several times. I even hated it. It is still challenging for me but I got better at dealing with it.

Since I am not that good at weapon quick-switching, I always jump-dash over the marauders to get to the radsuit refill, sometimes using the meat hook on the fodders to move faster. Just make sure the two marauders are always following you from behind and not get caught in the middle. Try using the remote detonation mod at them for pot shots while backing away from them. If you have enough space, you can bait the marauder near you and do the usual ssg-ballista or whatever weapon combo you use.

Just rush towards the exit to get to the first Marauder as soon as possible. If you're quick enough, you can kill him before the second Marauder even gets to you. Then it's piss easy.

The best for me is get rid of the first marauder by going to the closed door so i can make make damage before attacking the other.
Jump so the rad suit works more and dont forget to recharge it, as also if you have a bad time trying to use ssg+ballista combo, than throw sticky bombs on their feet while they run until they die, just use the zombies to get your ammo back.

When in doubt, use the chaingun energy shield. If you primarily use Mobile turret, quickly switch to the energy shield for this fight. When you are out of radsuit or low on ammo, pull it out and use it. It blocks radiation from the ground as well as the damage from marauders. It does slow you down a lot so keep that in mind.
