Is ultra nightmare worth it?

Do you get anything for it? I've finished everything on nightmare and even managed to do the extra life mode for the base game.

Yes it's worth it because of the overall experience.

It can be stressful if you are not a super high level player - but you get golden skins, which look fancy and you can flex :D

(TAG1 and 2 skins are way less stressful btw - since you only have to repeat 3 missions if you die. Dying to the gladiator in the base game made me almost cry - since he ended like 5 runs so far :D)

The feeling you get is great and you really feel accomplished I say definitely worth it it might take you one or two attempts or even 30 but when you get it

UN is cool just to prove you can do it, but I don't think it's a super fun way to play the game. Opinions may vary on that. I did it once each time for the campaign and each DLC and have mostly stuck to 1up mode since.

bosses are a set of patterns once u learn them its nothing even samur has patterns tho chaotic and what might seem random is really just a multiple set of patterns

when i did my UN i had a mirror game save so when i got to say the khan maykr i would do urdak 3 times in a row with no deaths before i loaded the UN file

you get a gold skin for the slayer. its probably worth it. i wouldnt know

Depends on you. The UN rewards on the main campaign and TAG!1 are goldskins for the Slayer, which for me is bleh. The UN skin for TAG2 looks cool though. However, I am still attempting UN because I like the combat and I just want to beat UN.

However, if you're going to attempt UN, prepare to hear King Novik's opening speech a lot. It's driving me insane. But if you're good and it will take you only a few attempts, then it's fine.

Only TAG2 because it's the only one that rewards you with a somewhat decent looking-skin.

I say yes, i don't really like the golden skins, but I really think finishing Ultra-Nightmare is what made me a better player.
Also, the sensation of finally achieving is awesome :D

I think I could do TAG2 on UN but those two rooms before the last boss are run killers. I think TAG1 is the hardest

Not for the skin no, for a personal challenge and sense of accomplishment definitely. But be prepared for a long grind and a lot of repeating levels 1-3 ;-) .Well unless you've already mastered the game.

As someone who has completed UN, dont play it for the reward, its not worth it. Play it for the challenge if your up to it
