I haven't watched either of those but I've got trusty weebs telling me that Death Note and JoJo aren't even comparable. Jojo is normie ♥♥♥♥, Death Note actually has good writing, or so I'm told.

JoJo is just somewhat packed with children, but the anime/manga is good. it can get confusing sometimes, but if you watch Hamon Beat's series on "Araki Forgot" then you'll understand

The anime/manga was better for me than DeathNote, however, Jojo is fun because of its concept and the fights, theyre pretty good, the stories are simple and the characters somewhat basic, but its good on what it tries to do. Deathnote might be better on its narrative, but I found it boring, however that might be my bias. None beat Full Metal Alchemist in my honest opinion
