Disable loading screen hints?
Is there a way to disable loading screen hints? It rather kills the mood to have to look away every time the game loads so as not to be spoiled of any game content. Those in game tutorials are bad enough, but at least they can be turned off.

I really hate when games do that sort of thing.

there are loading screen tips? i dunno, maybe i never noticed, but afaik there's no in-game option. maybe there's a mod for it.

there are no spoilers btw. if you die, it usually shows which enemy killed you and how to deal with them. but if a zombie or a heavy that doesn’t have obvious things that need to be pointed out, it usually shows the description of the level that you’re in, no spoilers there either. so there’s no need to look away.

This is PRECISELY my point. This is a game that offers a sense of abandon and catharthis in it's core gameplay, and very little else - as much as it wants to be some heroic tale of epic proportions, it's all windowdressing.
So - can you turn off that god-aweful fun-killers?

Well. You can stop dying.

I tried very hard to see the problem here but I just can't. Like how is the game spoiling you by telling you how to beat an enemy so the enemy doesn't kick your ass again.

i don't think there's a single thing in this game that someone hasn't complained about, no matter how trivial it is.

This is just how this game is. They make the information you need to know excessively obvious and in your face to make sure nobody is struggling to learn, only to perform. It's not my preference either, but the more you play, the more you realize that it's a complete non issue.

This isn't a puzzle game, there isn't a single way of dealing with each enemy, and the ones in the handholding tutorials are always unoptimized. If anything, their biggest impact on the game is a negative one, which is making some people believe you have to kill each enemy a specific way, and feel like it's restrictive.

i kind of agree. to an extent. i wish the tutorials showed just a little bit more ways of killing the demons, so players realize there's more than one way to kill a demon.

Well the tyrant one is pretty straightforward.

i can help you, but i need to know if it's just because you'd rather figure stuff out on your own instead of receiving help on how to.

ah, i see what your point is. i don’t think there is, at least not in the game itself. there’s probably a mod for it.

although some of them explain some helpful things that new players should at least know about. (like faltering, resource management and quick switching)

i said that because OP said he looked away every time. so he might’ve missed important things.
