I was able to push 3070 at 5K w/ ray tracing turned on to run at 60fps using Ultra Nightmare-High settings.
This did it for me. Everything except Texture Pool on Max 1440p RT on DLSS quality Texture Pool Ultra. 120 fps with 2080
Noticed Low Latency Mode to cause problems in a few games more with Raytracing in combination
If I try to run
DLSS Quality
Presets Ultra
Ray Tracing On
then during Mars Core I will get FPS 30 to 50.
However, there's a way to get double this performance
Run the game with
DLSS Quality
Presets High
Ray Tracing On
During the Mars Core into this will get you FPS 80 to 120
Now, go back to main menu, and use all the same settings, but set Presets to Ultra.
You'll find Mars Core gets the same 80 to 120 FPS (if your system behaves like mine)
I often find when Doom Eternal loads, something odd happens and the menu screen is crawling rendering 20FPS, but I mess around like this and get back to 120FPS.
