SPOILERS question about DLC 2 ending

Why Doom Guy fall after the final battle?
Is it cuz he was created with the machine that used hell power and he is KINDA half demon-human too?
i mean his cofin in the last scene was not in hell...but demons can not leave hell now when Dark Lord dead.
I rly dont get this ending

... Is the quote used at the start of 2016, and the end of eternal.

The Slayer is merely sleeping with the other gods now, until if and when he is needed again. That box is where he goes when not needed because he can't be contained otherwise.

yea but before 2016 he was traped there by demons and then he was free by the Great Father. Who will free him since he actually killed everybody

We don't know. Davoth couldn't handle the Slayer, that's why he was locked up to begin with until the Seraphim retrieved him.

Davoth is dead now, demons can't leave hell. Slayer has no purpose anymore, he's too powerful to let roam freely, so back in the box he goes. The point is to end the Doomguy's story while also not ruling out his return again.

Because he is Slayer in demons’ world. But they aren’t demons, but first humans. And he is Satan, but actually God. Wait, what? Who cares. Game is fun.

imo, it seems symbolic of the original iteration of 1v1 deathmatch from the original games.

Davoth and the Slayer are primevals. Primevals all look the same. As TAG1 lore establishes, only a primeval can kill another primeval.

Primevals are the "alpha" defenders of their world. No one in their home world is stronger than them. Davoth was the primeval of Immora before he was cast down.

Doomguy was brought into existence for an unknown purpose (above Davoth) to defend earth, but never knew what he actually was during the classic game, nor had his powers since the Earth realm was designed to have hardship unlike Davoth's world. So he was still normal until the Divinity Machine.

Davoth thought that if he unlocked the Doomguy's true potential that was hidden alway, he could use him like a weapon to exact revenge on the Maykrs and the Father for casting him down. But Davoth is an idiot, Doomguy can't be controlled and would rather slaughter demons for eons instead when given immortality and unlimited strength.

Davoth wasn’t created by Father to guard Immora etc., he is a creator of everything. Well, sort of? I don’t know how Wraith and Mysterious Voice fit into that. I doubt even Hugo knows.
