How good is Doom Eternal? New Player here

What to expect from this game for someone who never played a fast pace fps game before? And in General how good this game is?

If you have never played fast paced FPS before, try Doom 2016. This one builds on the previous game. So it's more of Doom 2016, but has specific tricks added to it. Doom 2016 is somewhat slower. If you like that one, you'll like this one.

I don't own that game although DOOM series was on my radar since the launch of DOOM 2016 back then i didn't have the hardware to run the game because of that other games like The Witcher 3 , Red Dead Redemption 2 etc were on my must play list now when i have the Hardware i decided to get DOOM Eternal as the game was on Sale and today i played it for a while and i loved it although i'm not much into these kind of fast paced games but i can safely say that i'm very happy and satisfied with my purchase.

Well, maybe you aren't into fast paced shooters because you didn't find a good one yet. And maybe Eternal will be your thing. Maybe not, you will see.

I never was a big shooter guy and then I found Doom 2016 and it clicked.

If you don't get interrupted by a big popup and disconnected from Bethesda's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers every 5 mins (coz you cant even play single player, without signing up), then it might be a decent game. Otherwise avoid coz it highly frustrating.

I've played every single doom from shareware on. This game is beast. Its amazing...... when it works.

Played it for more than an hour worked perfectly fine uptill now.

I had this problem for a long time. It sucks. I don't know why they think it's a good idea to interrupt the game to tell you your offline, as if there weren't less intrusive methods of telling.

It stopped for me and has been working fine now for months. For some time I used a workaround. Using a vpn and changing my location solved it. Maybe try that.

Doom Eternal is the best FPS game made in the last 15 years imo, and definitely a contender for the best fps ever made imo (Next to og dooms, doom 2016, quake, FEAR, dusk, blood, painkiller and serious sam).

That is just my opinion tho.
