the ´fact´ is that even that you played one time, it's not fault of the game if you were not good and failed, even that they give you a tutorial of how to defeat him sooo.... yeah i'll just say Git Gud since this discussion about the marauder is really old.
also, you don't like it?, oh well srry but it wont leave or be nerfed on the game :p
It's also amusing how you say that I failed, even though I just told you that I finished the game twice. Do you have a learning disability or something?
Yeah, we must be the "elitist pricks" with "learning disabilities." It certainly couldn't be your attitude that's causing the problem because that would require some level of self-reflection.
Oh yeah let's start with the insults right?, srry dude even if you cry about it they won't change anything, and with the DLC they shown with the 2 marauders how the developers feel about those babies like you :p.
also don't generalize, since I don't see the ENTIRE COMMUNITY saying the same and crying like you, right?
But you're right, forgive me. There's just something about people with below-average IQ that brings out the devil in me.
most people love to fight them
Letting the game make you humble is the first step to improving, the game kicks the hell out of you until you evolve in a a monster.
I can understand not being as fun to fight as other enemies. Kinda feels restrictive and like you gotta hold back or try to stack staggers with grenades to remove them quickly. I think they work well when paired with something else dangerous, which is why they are not really that exciting in the base game (they are never placed with super heavy demons in the base game).
I try to find creative ways to fight like using aoe from explosives and different combos to keep it interesting but I can understand why you might not like to fight them that much.
The issue isn't "are you skilled enough?" The issue is that you're having any sort of problem with the Marauder, then the game is telling you you're missing on some of its more advanced combat mechanics. You can have all the skill in the universe and without wisdom it would be useless. You might be skilled at using a sledge-hammer, but if you don't have the wisdom to know that you need to use a scalpel for some intricate work, you're going to make a mess. If you then complain the issue is with the person who commissioned your stonework because the little details can't be hammered, and how dare they tell you that you're not a skilled mason, because you've broken down hundreds of stone walls successfully, that person would be completely justified in ending their contract.
But I guess someone as "high IQ" as yourself shouldn't need that explained to you, should they?
You complain about our reading comprehension and you've not even addressed anything anyone else has said, resorting to ad hominem attacks instead. Clearly you must be the brightest person in the room and this can't be a case of the Dunning-Kruger effect.
I guess restrictive is a good way to desribe it. It's a showstopper that inexplicably can 100% block the most powerful ordnance at your disposal, even though none of the other demons in the game do that. I would understand if they threw him in there for variety but the game hardly suffers from it as it is.
There is a certain flow to the combat thanks to the fact that every enemy has a specific weakness that you can exploit but, ultimately, you can also just brute force your way through the horde if you lack imagination. But Marauders just completely kill the momentum for me. All I want is to move on but I can't because I have to spend a few moments playing grab a$$ with them. In a game that's all about maintaining speed and momentum it's like having to randomly interrupt your morning jog to play a round of chess.
