It's difficult to express just how much I hate Marauders

I bet that id wanted us to think "oh neat, it's that cool, difficult enemy that's really different and fun to fight" but honestly whenever I notice one of them in the crowd, all I can think of is hitting Alt+F4 and uninstalling the game.

And now I hear there are two of them that you have to fight at once in the DLC? No. Just no. I refuse to put up with this crap. I will honestly pass on the entire DLC now because mere thought of fighting two of them at once gives me cancer.

It's like they're doing it to spite us because they're salty about the fact that literally the entire community is complaining about this terrible, broken anomaly in an otherwise excellent game.

He's literally the videogame equivalent of a constipation and just like when struggling to squeeze one out, I'm also risking a stroke while trying to defeat these sh!t stains.

Marauder is a game-sense filter, if you can’t learn his pattern and figure out how to quickswap combo weapons and defeat him, the double marauder encounter is the least of your worries in this DLC.

When you know what you’re doing he shouldn’t be alive for longer than 10 seconds. A single possessed baron is harder to deal with than 2 Marauders.

This isn't even the best strat for Marauders, but it's a good way to deal with him. Maybe give it a try if you haven't already

And if you're using the weapon wheel, I'd recommend ditching it. Custom keybinds are a lot more effective, especially against the Marauder.

Don't let a single enemy ruin the game for you. Marauders become a lot more fun to fight once you learn how to deal with them effectively

This discussion has been done to death. Maybe if you were complaining about this months ago when the game first came out and people were learning strats to deal with him, you could be excused... But now? It's just laughable.

That doesn't even seem possible unless you have an unlocked framerate and running the game past the point when it's easier to glitch it. I can barely squeeze 50 frames in this game on my PC so yeah, not gonna happen.

I have no problem defeating him but it usually takes super long because his opening window is just tiny so I end up circle strafing until the game mercifully regisers a hit on him and he staggers for a fraction of a second. It's like the complete opposite for what the rest of the game wants you to do and it's annoying. And even within the context of the lore, how sense does it make that he can block anything unless he gives you a stupid opening? Even the Crucible - a sword that is capable of stopping a mf Titan - just goes right through him like he's thin air. It's just dumb.

Anyway, I just finished replaying the campaign so it's probably gonna be a while before I try it again but probably worth keeping in mind, thx.

quickswap SSG-ballista-SSG and you can land three shots at one.

Unlike most of the people who seem to be defending him, I didn't spend the last 6 months playing this game. I played it once when it came out, played it again recently. That's it.

Elitist pricks like you can flex all you want but that won't change the fact that it's a crap enemy.

That's a super basic weapon quickswap, all you have to do is tap whatever button your weapon wheel is bound to. Even console players can do it.

I didn't say he's hard. I said that he sucks. And yeah, thanks genius, it's not like the game throws a big tutorial screen at you when he first appears and his eyes glow green just before he attacks you. GEE, WHAT COULD IT MEAN?
