Because breaking the orb wont kill the Dark Lord, simply prevent him from taking physical shape. Without a physical form the Dark Lord can still command the armies of hell and cause more chaos. If the Dark Lord is killed in his physical form then it would have 2 effects: Sealing away hell so that no demon may ever leave, and causing every demon outside of hell to instantly die. Effectively stopping hell from ever invading another dimension or killing innocents again
Oh, you're another of those "Story is more important than gameplay" idiots?
I don't really get what you mean. There's clearly a big jump in time between Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal, but the DLC seems to take place shortly after the main game. Did you literally expect the DLC to start with doom guy walking away from the Icon of Sin at the end of the base game?
There's no problem with that preference.
I personally think the story in Eternal is more interesting than it's ever been in the series. That gets lost on a lot of people since the game isnt narrative based and requires you to read.
Dlc seems like they're rushing a games worth of story into a dlc pack. The lore writing is fantastic, however, I think the actual story told ingame isn't worth writing home about.
oh yeah, lets see if someday they say about what happened there, maybe they will do that on a comic
For the last time not personally liking something doesn't make it terrible we had this conversation when you tried arguing that the classic Doom games had no influence on the FPS genre
We will probably fight 4 spirit possesed demons at same time instead lol
DLC bosses are so freaking bad, devs got too lazy to bother creating actually legit boss fights lol
