Jumping

I have been stuck for hour or more about to dump game,
What is the trick to jump to a pole and use that boost, I got lucky couple of times and made it just by luck.
it s a shame I owned every doom made this maybe my last :-(

So much of this game is fighting through the "I can't do it" mentality.

Trust me, I'm going through it right now on my Super Gore Nest master level Ultra Nightmare run. From your first steps through to complete mastery, Doom Eternal never stops pushing you.

Take it from me, not only is this stuff doable, its rewarding when you do and makes you better at other parts of the game as well.

The deeper you go, the jumping and climbing become's an after-thought. Besides it beats the hell out of just walking from A to B. By the time you reach the mid-way point you'll start using that jump and dash in a fire fight, now it really has a purpose huh.

ok I got through the next section/s, watching the walk through I see there is multi jumps poles boosts, all have to be done in one run, and once there a huge battle to win.
I tried it a few times, and it not going to happen,
I am done deleting the game and moving on, just no fun in this. $$$ wasted,

I found a Fling trainer with slowmo option, it is less horrendous that way. But no, this is still not fun in any way or form.

Fling trainer? will have to check it out, it nothing like the old doom I use to enjoy suppose any newer versions will be just as bad as this in future! $$$$ lesson learnt,,,,

I only agree it is not like the DOOMs before Eternal, but tbh I really think all the problems you are facing with these jumps is just you looking at each jump you have to make and already "previously" (before even trying) calling it bs and calling it a day if you fail to it (then you proceed to fail, call it bs and call it a day).

I died a couple of times sometimes to some of these jumps, sometimes I did not make the jumps on my first try, but I did not just go looking at it like "oh hell, here we go again" . . . by your messasges, "seem to me" like that is exactly how you are taking it, you look at a pole and think "oh hell, here we go again" and that seem to be the problem.

Now I can jump from pole to pole during combat and remain in the air for the whole combat at an area without even looking at the poles, just looking for demons below so I can kill everything while flying.
If you did not go thinking bad about the pole jumps, also the double jump + double dash, these could be your best friends not your worst enemies in the game.

cszolle79 thanks that the answer perfect, using the infinate jumps, boost was able to get past that stupid section and now onto the rest of the game, that's so great I can now go ahead play the game and when get to other section like that just fly through to the fun bits, so at least can have some fun on this expensive game,
