I never was big on shooters. This and its predecessor are the first ones that motivate me to improve. This is an endless journey because there is always room for improvement even if you beat it on UN I suppose. I love it.
Not right away maybe, but give it time. I think the question is, if you are prepared to put much time into this one game. If you do, everything's possible. If not, no problem, you don't need to beat it on Nightmare, just play the way you like.
Eventually played through UV a month or two later.
Finally tore through Nightmare last week.
As with 2016, I acquired a preference for Nightmare. UV ends up feeling too easy after that.
Currently I'm going through Ancient Gods on UV to get a feel for the levels. It's a good challenge but I'm already itching to try Nightmare. Absolutely love the Blood Swamps.
