Reason why demons in battlemode are so underpowered.
Because your average demon player is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ vegetable. Demons require certain amount of coordination and ability to kite the slayer. Those absolute smoothbrains just run straight at slayer and die. Yes, i am salty and prolly just play slayer only now.

Its a chat feed, and when you ignore an obnoxious persons message and fill up the chat with on-topic content, they usually just say it again until they get a response, so ignoring chats isn't usually effective at all. Disagreeing and explaining why you should stop arguing your side of it doesn't mean they're interested in the topic of deathmatch, it means they're interested in the topic of you, shutting your ♥♥♥♥ hole

No one was banned for saying 'super shotty good', thats a ridiculous claim to make, and you asked the same question that you and 100 other people have asked on repeat since launch, then wouldn't quit going on about it after people explained why it wouldn't be happening, hence people getting pissed. 'you guys fault' how exactly I don't know, considering I didn't say anything, and the people that did didn't do anything wrong. You can't fault people for being tired of seeing you spam the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, they can't ignore and mute, because they are trying to use the server for its intended purpose, and you made that harder. According to a moderator you were 'being an ass in general', and considering they moderate a 9000 person server with a like 10 person moderation team, I don't blame them for banning you.

I don't know how demons win by playing poorly but yes quick swap isn't balanced and all hitscan weapons need lower damage or they have to balance it around those 2 factors which they don't.

Talking about demons. I'd rather them remove utility's like haste/shield and heal/damage zones and instead just make the demon itself the danger. Faster or stronger projectiles and more health. Maybe move demon spawning to an automatic system where the longer the demons live the stronger the demons that spawn so that passive demon strength wouldn't be in the hands of the demon players.

If you buff demon damage and make it easier to land shots and remove the other tools that make the game unique, then very, very quickly a meta would emerge that involves strictly pain elemental and mancubus, as they rely least on such cooldowns and a buff to projectile speed and damage would benefit them most. The demons are the danger, and the status effects for haste and armor affect the demon and their damage output/damage input directly, which controls if/when the demons are a threat. The summons can exist fine in the game (even though I generally would prefer they take the route you describe, except for summons instead, buffing demon players and removing summons entirely, in order to give agency to the demon players), but only when they need to be used intelligently to get value out of them, and when there is a roughly equal exchange of effort on the slayers part to kill them as to the rewards he receives for doing so. I don't want to hear any further argument about quickswaps, because quite literally you don't have the experience to know what you're talking about if you think that's the problem, so if you bring it up in response Im just not gonna respond.

As far as demons winning by playing poorly I refer specifically to simply looking at the slayer and placing summons all around him to get free, unavoidable damage and stunlocks, then simply pressing W and M1 and blowing cooldowns to kill him, since after losing all your armor to summon spam, two armored demons playing aggro is not a winnable fight statistically. i.e. mara rev double tac double bigger bar, both push with 2500 health and 8s of 50% damage reduction, you'd need to deal an equivalent of 1000 damage to their necessary damage of 175, and even if you do deal a significant amount of damage and escape with your life, they still can heal back almost all of it simply for placing a box, and if their push was even semi effective, which it usually is, since they have a combined DPS of 78, not counting tox field (45 dmg on average) and barrage (up to 125 damage), then you don't have the health to push them while they're healing, and are forced to seek restack on your own, which is hard because they can completely block the stack of the first two things you try to kill as well as 4s after each of them, which usually totals out to about 12s of seeking restack before you're able to gain a thing. (and during which they get full value out of the heal). Essentially, the demons just completely won the entire encounter simply because they placed summons then held W, and the slayers only counterplay is to run the ♥♥♥♥ away until both armor cooldowns have been used, which is dramatically harder in the last month or so after meathook speed was dramatically reduced in the process of removing the FPS dependency.

Slayer is not by any means unplayable, and these balance issues are not unfixable, but again, the demons have the tools to win the game and those tools require significantly less mechanical skill and strategy in order to be used effectively.

The ballista change hasn't actually changed its kill break point except in rare circumstances and has more total ammo.

The precision bolt requires 1 extra shot to kill in most circumstances and I think it has more total ammo now.

So its very hard to call that balancing in any serious manner when compared to the nerfs that demons have received.

As for your theoretical worst case scenario for the slayer it shouldn't be as easy as just running away no matter how hard that is after a p2w bug fix.

Also I would be all for removing the skill cap on demons but within the constraints of the current system the only real fix is to make it harder for the slayer. The only real viable way to do that is adjusting damage numbers in a meaningful way so that hitscan weapons aren't always the go to weapons. That would also make quickwap less of a problem.

I didn't call you an NPC, and I don't have an 'admin friend' whoever you might be referring to. You don't know who they are, but you do hold the same views and spam the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the chat, which is why people don't like you or anyone else who comes into a battlemode chat with miserable takes about a gamemode that doesn't exist.

You're not proving anything, you're just arguing that the nerfs were enough to fix the problem, and I'm arguing they aren't. That's up to personal preference and anecdotal evidence about our experiences with the game. I'm not 'spicy', and I'm not crying about it, just attempting to explain to a newer player where I find issue with the game. The delay nerf only affects the demons side, forcing them to spawn a literal split second in advance of the slayers position, and doesn't delay the time after the slayer has a chance to see them before getting hit, which is the actual issue. This isn't even just my viewpoint, but the view of all of the top demon players as well, so your evidence is just 'i have no issue with this' and not actually based on long term play or top level scrims.

First of all I wasn’t spamming like those other “100” people you were talking about. Don’t blame me for apparently influencing “100” people to say the same ♥♥♥♥ I said that’s their fault for not thinking for themselves. And yes I remember seeing you spam NPC when the admin said it first
And I don’t know if I got banned I left the server because you guys were being hostile to me
