Game literally kills performance when streaming on discord

So this has been happening pretty much since after the update they removed denuvo anti cheat (that was fun wasn't it) but basically whenever I try to stream doom eternal in a discord call and the game is running in full screen mode, it'll be fine for about a minute. But then the frame rate starts to dip a little, then it keeps dropping down to literal single digits and eventually even 0fps and makes the whole pc lag with the only way to stop it being to end the steam. The solution I found for this is to run the game in borderless windowed instead of full screen (which I actually had it set to but for some reason it reverted back to fullscreen at some point and I just didn't notice.) I have never seen anyone else talk or complain about this, so I'm gonna ask if a few people can try this themselves because I'd like this to be fixed because last thing I need is the game randomly reverting back to full screen again and killing my pc when I try to show my buddies my epic nightmare gameplay.

I'm not sure if this will fix the black screen when I try to stream to Discord, but what it DID fix was the bloody input lag I had since I enabled Vsync. So thank you!

I just streamed my entire playthrough to my brother with no issues on Discord. Windowed Fullscreen seems to work best.
