also the flame belch mechanic sucks on so many levels...
Your other arguments don't really make sense either. How is the flame belch a bad mechanic? And how is it harder to aim in 2016 than Eternal? Eternal has weakpoints, so I feel like it would be the other way around. I don't remember ever having to put any effort into aiming with 2016
Glory killing on Nightmare is often not worth it, demons will hurl a bunch of damage at you at once by the time the invuln frames wear off and negate any health you got, and it only takes 2-3 taps on nightmare to kill if you can't move around. It's not worth the risk on Ultra Nightmare.
Lol I just jumped and fired the SSG non-stop. Seems to have worked.
BUT...
DOOM shouldn't have a combat loop/flow! Neither of them do! This combat flow was designed for people that can't think on their own. I'm with you on this one. Terrible design! I have my own weapon flow, not some ABC kiddie flow the developers force me to use - this is why I like DOOM 2016 better.
In d4 there are only 2 ways of burst healing: glory kill or land several aoe kills at low health
In this game there are 2+3 ways of healing burst outside glory killing: blood punch, ice nade, drone headshot
And outside drone headshot, the other methods are easy as pie to do.
