My current setup is a GTX 1070, i7-7700 @ 3.6Ghz, 16 Gigs of ram, and the game is installed on a Samsung 850 EVO 1 TB SSD. Installing to other drives did not solve the problem btw.
Or check whether the installation path is in English.
If it is because the screen is frozen ctrl+alt+delete>esc>Click on the game picture below to re-enter the game.

1.alt+enter . 2.win10upgrade. 3.Have you inserted other screens before. Does the screen go to another location? 4.Transfer the game to another hard drive with steam.
that would work if it showed up as an actual task. other than the id sofware icon in the hidden icon menu on the task bar literally nothing is happening.
How long have you guys had these issues. For me, it's been almost a month.

for me, its since i bought the game this week. for the first time in my 17 Years of Steam gaming I think about a refund.
been having this issue for several months now. says im playing for 3 to 5 seconds then switches status to not running anything. id software launcher appears in task bar for each launch attempt then they dissapear when i attempt to click on them. nothing i have tried has helped.
