how does online play work? is it p2p?

i cant get high speed internet where i live, and have to use a cellphone hotspot, which apparently has alot of issues with p2p style online games.

is this one of those dreaded titles? and if so, wtf is your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deal ID?! you INVENTED online deathmatch, yet your using the worst type of online play known to man?

They literally invented P2P Deathmatch. That's how what they invented worked. Doom was P2P only.

That said, it does use some mix of P2P and client/server, and it does seem fairly ping sensitive.

Only real way to see how that will effect you is to try it.
