If you mean for instance my friend wAS CALLED "jOHN dOE" AND PREVIOUSLY i'D KNOW IT IT WAS HIM OR AGAIN IF IT WAS A DIFFERENT FRIEND THEN ♥♥♥♥♥ THAT WOULD BE ♥♥♥♥♥♥, i LIKE SEEING WHICH OF MY FRIENDS DIED.

I honestly liked that the name was there.

My theory is they're doing this so they can just throw random empowered demons at you.

BTW I killed I think a mancubus that took out Janer the other day.

Seems more like a “we don’t want people to bully others for dying in game” to me chief.

I'm sure someone cursed my name or thought I was a complete Noob when one of the empowered whiplashes I created turned up on the cultist base the other day, lol. Its half the fun

Has anybody seen a demon above the heavy tier be empowered? Also, still only seem to get 1 per level.

ive never seen an empowered demon above or below heavy tier, kinda sucks and i also only get 1 or none in a level

I encountered 2 on the final level post update-2: a Hell knight, and a Revenant! Concur that they've always been from the heavy tier.

Probably because having empowered demons be related to player kills in campaign was a cool idea but also extremely flawed. It relied on people getting killed to generate them, how can you be sure enough people will die in every stage of the game so others can get their empowered demons? You just don't. What if the playerbase gets so good that player deaths are extremely few? Empowered demons become incredibly rare.

I'm pretty sure they removed the slayers names and increased their spawn rate at the same time because they are just randomly generated by the game now and no longer tied to players deaths.

Agree! There was this good Slayer that defeated me on Battlemode, but he kept dying to heavy demons, and they appeared on my campaigns. I wondered if he was doing Ultra nightmare...it was fun! Weirdly, except for one time, I never encountered any demon that killed my friends.

damn really ? that sucks, i always had fun avenging my friends, and last time someone the demons killed named Kenny, and then the demon was tagged as "Killed Kenny" i took a screenshot and it is on my profile, as a southpark fan that was some funny ♥♥♥♥ to see, anw hope to see the name tag back in future updates .

That you've read them at all is enough partner. It's a long journey and I doubt many take it more than once or twice in their lifetime! :)

Though book 4 is one I'll reread at least a couple times.

Makes sense, but it's still disappointing - I always enjoyed running into empowered demons from friends' games. It was a cute little touch that reminded me other people were out there playing it too.
