black screen on startup
when i first got the game it worked perfectly fine. now whenever i want to play it it just gives me a black screen while still playing audio. what should i do?

I had a problem that was similar to yours a few days ago. It appeared to be the config files that turned crazy and were messing up with the resolution. Try to delete these files.

C:Users>[User's name]>Saved Games>id Software>DOOM Eternal>base

In this folder, delete DOOMEternalConfig.cfg and DOOMEternalConfig.local.

Then launch the game, and see if something is displayed. Don't worry for the missing files, the game will generate a fresh deal of them as soon as it launches.

i only found one of those files you told me to delete. deleted it. nothng changed.

whats ur antivirus?

i have absolutely no idea whaat my antivirus is. when i look in my computer all i have is virus and protction settings, and those have NO OPTIONS to add exceptions.
