windows 10 or windows 7?

Is better to play Doom Eternal on windows 10 or Windows 7? Where i can get the best fps?

I've seen several "Recommended PC Requirements" lists that omit Windows 7 for the Ultra Nightmare graphics quality setting. Possibly due to DX12 support.

So if Ultra Nightmare is the quality setting you want o play on perhaps Windows 10 would be best but I have no way of knowing for sure.

Testing other games found no discernible difference in gaming performance between Windows 10 and Windows 7.

doom does not use dx12 :o

Ah, I see. My bad thanks for the correction. I guess DX12 being a factor for certain games when comparing W10 vs W7 was my mindset.

Windows 8.1 needs have its graphics updates up to date , but it runs super and well .

Windows 7 is outdated and not supported you not gonna get better performance on windows 7, you would have more luck on Linux.
