At least he is at the start of the level also, just experiment and look for him...(I always make sure I've a BFG shot ready for him)
Referring the game difficulty all I can say is keep at it and in a few months time you will look back and laugh at how much you've progressed.
The game is excellent at making you a better player.
if the above is true then i'm not going to be able to play anymore, like i said above i got frustrated having lost 35 extra life's i got throughout the game so i uninstalled the game
If you run out of extra lives, play parts or all of maps 2 n 3 and you'll have 11 extra lives on hand and try not to burn thru them this time.
It's impossible to run out of ammo for long with fodder demons spawning constantly.
And get demonically gangbanged in a corner is your fault.
for some reason when i leave all the demons alone in the middle of the court yard the big demons spawn in too regardless, and my chainsaw has 1 fuel in all the time which isn't enough to kill the brute's for ammo, and health drops, my main concern is finding Archie, but no matter where or what i do i couldn't find him, which in turn leads to my death. hence why i stopped playing, up until that mission i loved the game, excellent combat and kick ass music, but that mission is a complete game breaker for me :(
First time I did this lvl I did not find him and after one view on youtube I saw where he is, I recommend BFG him when you find him or freeze him if he don´t have the fire wall up and 2 times lock burst him with the rocket launcher and he is dead.
