Marty said it's coming this week and it's Tuesday.

Let's get mad Friday night.
not that easy. a patch has to go through many, many forms of qa before it's greenlit. especially since the game is a multiplat. so you'll either have to be patient or buy a console port to play in the meantime. or both.

I too have been checking several times a day after my refund request was denied. I want to play this game again to finish it, but simply can't on a semi-work PC with this Denuvo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I just want to patch already so I can buy the damn game in the first place.

Any denuvo issues are related to available net bandwidth. If you are downloading anything in the background or someone else is hogging your net connection at home your going to have a bad time playing the game.

Fair the Denuvo issue is a royal pain and so are the glitches. They should have thought about that before it just installed on our PC's. id is making it right and yes I hope it is soon, but tell me any other game developer that listens and will make things right?

That's good advice in general. Change your router QOS to use fq_codel, and it will share the bandwidth better.

probably shouldn't have given your anti-virus that much access tbh. The thing probably has kernel level software.

Years to decade ago, PC-Cillin was good. Got bloated. Then NOD32, which started tunnel hijacking all internet traffic. Ultimately, no modern AV is acceptable outside of windows defender. Everyone else has too much bloat, spyware, and false positives, not to mention they all try to upsell or charge money. Even Malwarebyte's free anti-spyware has turned into a super bloated trial-ware, making it garbage too. Can't recommend any of them.

3rd party AV *is* the virus now. Don't bother with it, stick with defender.

still works normally. just need higher specs. my old retroarch system (what i play the most of on it) with a 3rd gen i5, 16 gb's of ram and a 4gb 960 has stuttering issues... presumably because of denuvo and/or other discrepancies the latest patch introduced. but anything built or produced after 2017 or so will do; like my acer nitro5. it has a gtx 1050 which is somewhat bottlenecked by an i5-8300u, but it exhibits none of the same problems.

Valve (sometimes) does things right. Except for artifact and tf2. Artifact sucks and tf2 is something that needs their attention desperately.
