Who is Samuel Hayden really?
There's that theory going around that he was the angel that stole the energy to make vega. But why would he change his form? Was his human background a lie?

IIRC he knew Olivia Pierce when he was human, and they both attended the same school, or similar schools, or something. Can't remember for sure.

Allegedly born into a wealthy family. So there had to have been some lineage there.

Yea he probably disagreed with the Kahns dealings with hell. He even goes as far as to steal the crucible from you and present it to the government.

they did not. but checking the wiki proves that olivia actualy knew him as human

And the seraphim who gave the Doom Slayer the power up shown in the flashback at Taras Nabad has the same voice actor as Hayden...

Was thinking about this actually. He takes you through the Arjent Energy process and that level of hell and knowledge is way too deep for any human who isn't the slayer to discover. I think even most of the Knight Sentinels didn't know how it was made.

Hell? He knows a ton about the Makyrs as well and we've never heard of those before.

He's not "evil", but at least based on Doom 2016, he clearly leaves pretty much 99% of moral questions out of his work. He wants to give Earth Argent energy (and control it, as he sees himself as only one that can, and keep generating it without sacrifical gifts to hell or at least to keep them to bare minimum. Guess that's the 1 % ) and even created (and later rescued ) his backup plan if Argent business would bring hell - Doom guy himself. He just didn't relaise how far Doom guy would go to destroy forces of hell or all related things , leading to Argent towers destruction.
