Resolution issues?

Hi, this was running fine up to my last driver update from Nvidea. Every time I now boot from steam the game now runs at god awful low resolutions without the ability to change them up to suit my display from the graphics settings as the setting is either locked at 640p or 720p with no other resolution options available.

I was running this at 1440p at highest settings on RTX2080TI with no issues up until a few days ago. I;m currently re-installing the game to see if this clears this issue, any idea's or help would be appreciated.

Looking at the game metrics it is 1280 x 768 Forced

Hi yes, I just reset the graphics options back to default and exited back to desktop, rebooted and then applied my graphical settings, now back to 1440p at max settings across the board

Getting the same issue. Its messing up all my cpu resolution. Where did you guys go to fix this? in nvidia? the models are low res and everything. so bad

I'm getting the same issue twice. The game auto change AR and resolution despite I'm doing nothing with them everytime I launch it. Need to delete the configuration file in order to fix it. I used to have exactly same issue with 2 other id Tech base game (DOOM'16 and Wolfenstein II), it even wipe out my save game while I'm attempt to change it back. So BEWARE!!! Is enyone here using AMD VGA get this issue or only NVIDIA? Myself using a 1080Ti.

On Nvidia 1660 Ti, also had this issue now for the second time. Restore graphics to default (R) in the video menu worked for me!

Where in Windows Explorer is the configuration file?

Whenever I boot up Doom, for some reason it changes my resolution. This makes it impossible to play, as my fps goes way down and so does the quality. I ran this game ultra-smooth before, but I want to make it so Doom or steam doesn't change my picture quality or resolution when booting it up.

I had the exact same issue. I clicked on Reset to Default Settings in the video settings menu and that reset the resolution to native. Fixed!
