Actually, I'm just pointing it out. I personally don't care because I don't even own the game, and for the exact problems that people have pointed out, but points for trying to be a smartass. You must be one of those people who comments on posts where people say they don't care, so you say they shouldn't comment if they don't care. You decided to comment on my post complaining about me complaining. Take your own advice.
I quite liked all the mechanics, sure the game is a bit more stressful than the previous games with all the mechanics, but I also happen to have enjoyed that. If you liked the previous game more or something else entirely, fine, just don't push your opinions as facts.
Heh Heh, funny but true. I kind of double irony if such a thing exists.
I would like a bit more ammo though!!
The low ammocount is fine because they want you to switch weapons more often, and be in the middle of the fight at all times. If you play as intended you will not run out of ammo. Complaining about constantly having to hunt down fodder to resupply is the same as ppl complaining about having to glorykill all the time. You shouldnt glory kill unless below 50%, you dont have to chainsaw unless several weapons are low on ammo.
A little slower recharge on the cainsaw and slightly more ammo capacity would't have hurt the game though i think
Every single AAA release is plauged by people flocking to the steam forums to enact their best rage gamer impression. This is nothing new. To paint this on hype and fanbois is rather hilarious, fanboy or not it's perfectly valid to be bored of the usual rage gamer parade that every popular game on steam gets. It was no different with Doom 2016.
The people who point out things they disagree with are simply expressing their dislike. They understand that doesn't mean anything will change about it. Like I said, most everyone hates the damage feedback in Wolf 2, but nothing was change to address that anyway, so you either deal with it or you don't play the game. Like I said, I see more offense being taken by people who DO like the new mechanics, simply because others don't.
Regardlless, I think it's a great game overall and that's what counts. And it's all subjective, so some people will ♥♥♥♥ things and others won't.
We are lucky that the game runs well and is well designed. A lot of hard work went into it, and while it's different than Doom 2016 it is still good. But most people will prefer one over the other.
No right or wrong really.
They won't. They know their mechanics and incentives and why they work, they won't do a u-turn just because 0.1% of people can't handle that not every game is identical.
I think I see the problem on both sides, both who likes or dislikes thinking their opinions are facts, whether you like or not the game is fine. Just don't push your opinions either way.
So instead of trying out the game yourself and seeing if these problems you point out actually affect your own experience, you are trying to defend the points of other people about something you yourself haven't experienced it at all.
Don't be surprised when people don't take you seriously in life.
Well, I'm not complaining about the people who DO enjoy the game. It should be said that you'll have people who enjoy it, understand there's thing that other people might not like, but accept those things and will play it regardless. They won't begrudge those though who complain. Only tell them what they can do to get better.
However, I've been around on enough of the forums to see plenty of "git gud scrub" comments and those who insult the ones that criticize, to see that it goes past some people simply enjoying it. Like I said, go over to the Wolf 2 forums and any of the topics that address the game's gamplay will have its fair share of detractors, as well as those who still like the game despite the different mechanics. What you WON'T see is anyone saying "git gud" or insulting those who don't like the game.
