The Gladiator is a buggy mess.

First fight against this guy. He's not taking any damage at all. I figure there must be something I'm doing wrong, so I look up a video -- nope, his HP was just frozen and he didn't stagger. Reloaded checkpoint. Okay, cool, now it's working fine -- I get to phase two, and the game crashes as soon as the cutscene ends. Great. Guess I'll do it again. Seems to be working normally again on the third try, and... halfway through phase 1, his HP freezes again.

Man glad that didn't happen to me, I found that guy the most boring thing to fight in the entire game so far... I was glad it was over. If it would have bugged out, i might have considered walking away for a while... I only had secret challenge battle bugging out on me. 1 I constantly killed everything yet the timer wouldn't end. 2 I finished it, got the clear message, everything green on the meter, yet the challenge didn't count...

I didnt mind that fight either. Although it became more fun once it lost its shield. It was no Marauder fight though.

same here. first time it froze right at the beginning of the fight, second try it froze towards the end of phase 1. have to wait for a fix i guess...

Im late here I wanted to see if I was the only one but holy ♥♥♥♥ this fight is terribly buggy. His eyes wont flash green when they should, he will make the sound that hes coming in for an attack and he wont, he wont stop doing one attack when he should be flashing green. Ive played this game before it was updated to ♥♥♥♥ and now its all a buggy mess

you gotta shoot him with something like ballista or ssg when his eyes go green and he attacks

He is fine, they made him randomise his attacks on purpose in second phase. So it's more dynamic.

I had him bug out during a recent nightmare run, I reduced his 2nd health bar to 0 and he didn't enter his death glory kill state. Instead he was unkillable and I had to reload. Thank god that wasn't UN, I would've been pissed
