there are little snapmap remakes of old doom maps like e1m1 in doom 2016 and it just felt wrong, missing all the classic 2d charm. One of the few games that doesn't really need a remake, something like brutal doom is all u would need to modernize it
I rather see them making new games.
Especially after their unity "remakes", which from what I've heard are pretty bad.

I don't mind the Strogg, but I am pretty much over them after the last 3 games and especially Quake 4.
