Mars Core secret encounter 2 not completeable

I've done it like 20 times, kill like 8 imps, a prowler, a cacodemon and a naga. Doesn't ever give me the completion. Bugged?

I don’t remember all the encounters, but have you searched the area to make sure they didn’t stick a small guy or something somewhere nearby? I remember a few where they put some weaker guys around for seemingly no reason.

Nah it's bugged, other people posted about this one too. I'll see if it works after restarting the game

Confirmed that this was fixed by restarting the game and getting back to the secret encounter from the previous checkpoint.

It's also not working for me. I killed all the demons in the encounter and it immediately counted as a failure even though I still had 2 minutes to spare. Tried it several times to make sure. The issue persists after loading the checkpoint even quitting and reloading the game with that checkpoint. Maybe it can only be solved by replaying the level? I haven't tested that yet.

It's July 2024 and this just happened to me, failed it like 20 times in a row. I restarted from the last check point and got it first try. I didn't notice any extra demons, it just registered as complete with no differences.

Dec 2024 and its still happening. why haven't they fixed the bug in 4 years
