weird tapping noise in audio
There has this been this odd tapping noise in the audio of the game for the whole time I have played it. I thought it was intentional at first but eventually I concluded it is not intentional and must be a bug or some kind of artifact.

Any ideas on what it could be or how to fix it?

That sounds more like onboard audio signal interference, if you're referring to that little squelchy high-pithced *tick* ever 2 seconds or so. I had that with an onboard audio chip. In fact, the last 2 motherboards I had (both ASUS) had that issue, and the only thing that cleared it up for me was buying an add-on audio card. The shielding in some mb's are just poor at best. People that don't have it are lucky, but when it's bad (and your video is BAD) it really drives me crazy listening to that little *tick!* every couple of seconds.

Unless there is no tick in your video and it's an artifact from listening to it on my laptop. Haven't watched your video on my gaming pc yet.

If you're having that much of an issue with it, one solution I found was to lower the audio quality in the control panel for your headphones, it should eliminate the sound, but it makes everything in the game have an echo. Hope this helps you.

the issue could be that your audio driver has ring 0 kernel access and someone has exploited it
