Chrono Strike is horribly implemented

The rune that lets you slow down time while in the air while holding down M2 is stupendously bad to use. Anyone else think so? I could tell at a glance that this rune would have some catch but it surprised me that the catch is the rune is just terrible to use.

1. You have to fully deplete it before it is allowed to recharge. Mind-boggling stupid.

2. It shares the same keybind as your weapon mod. They very obviously intended this to be used with Precision Bolt on the Heavy Cannon. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here waiting for an Arbalest or a Lock-on Burst to charge twice as long while burning this rune. Of course I could just quickly tap out of it, or the rune could just not affect our weapon mods and just slow down the enemies/ the world and be useful.

3. Slow-motion has no use in this fast-paced game, at least slow-motion for EVERYTHING. Again, it's painfully obvious the only weapon this works with is Heavy Cannon's Precision Bolt. Why would you want to slow down a SS meathook (I know you don't have to hold down the mod key to pull yourself in), or a Mobile Turret/Lock-on Burst/etc. and forever. Nothing works with this rune except Precision Bolt (lol @ trying to use this with Remote Detonation).


The ONLY use I could see this rune have is if you combined it with Air Control and used it to shimmy your way out of a bad jump/position. That's ignoring of course, how often you will find yourself burning this rune by accident or maybe it's on cooldown, and then there's the fact you are using two runes to do essentially nothing.


The biggest problem is that it slows down our weapon mods. If it didn't slow down our weapon mods, then 90% of the problem is eliminated, the only 10% is the bit about forcing a depletion to recharge it.

Actually its underrated, i use it alot with my super shotgun, it gives you great air control after you meathook people with it and its pheonimal with meathook postioning

You have to watch it if you're doing a secret encounter. The timer still runs at full speed despite everything else being slowed down.
