Developer Console/ Cheat Codes?

I heard there is a developer console, but are the cheats functional, all I would need is godmode.

Thanks for the info, Ive looked into this but there doesn't seem to be a standard "godmode" is there anything like that in the game?

Sentinel armor reduces all damage by like 75% not god mode but youd have to try to die pretty much

One of the easiest ways is using Eternal Patcher, one button press and it will modify the game's executable accordingly (it will enable a few other things related to allowing mods too): https://www.nexusmods.com/doometernal/mods/18

Alternatively you can use any Hex editor, search for 084C8B0EBA01, change that 01 at the end to 00, save, and that's it: https://imgur.com/a/gs7zGaK

If you're using the latest, vanilla Steam game executable (MD5 d393f99a3bddce792234db163dfe6035), then here's some Powershell snippet that will do the same, just replace the path to the executable, paste, hit enter, done (should be MD5 fdc6f26118fe02b9c51b94fc61536958 afterwards):

In any case make sure that you backup the exe file before making any changes (otherwise you have to validate game files to bring things back normal).
