And yet Doom 1 and 2 are much better games than DE despite their sprite graphics and limited mobility.
Also ITT: reeeeeee
Sandy Peterson, American McGee and TeamTNT want to have a talk with you.
At its best, i.e. shareware episode - yeah, really fun run&gun gameplay.
At its worst, either stupid gimmicks (Slough of Despair and Chasm) or absolute chore (Fortress of Mystery).
I don't think McGee's levels were that bad, Romero is a legend for a reason, but McGee isn't bad.
Romero has released new WADS for Doom 1 and 2 in the last few years and they are awesome. You can definetaly see the difference between the people who used to be at ID and made the name for the developer studio and todays hipsters just riding on the name and fame of the once greats.
You clearly have no idea what fps is, lmao.
And clearly no idea what doom stands for, lmao.
Doom > Doom 2 > Thy Flesh Consumed > Doom 64 > Doom 2016 > Doom 3 > Doom Eternal > Final Doom
Also, when I said he isn`t bad I meant McGee. I worded that wrong I guess.
Doom 1 > Doom 2 > Brutal Doom > Doom 2016 > Doom 3 > Doom 64 > Doom Eternal
What about reviews? i say i do not like it and that it is to much parkour melee teleport and to little fps anymore for me. And i refunded DE. You might be someone that has to like something because reviews say you have to, but i don't.
