How to use summon abilities in battlemode?

The tutorial only covers the demons personal abilities, I have no idea on how to summon the demons or other stuff in my loadout.

1,2,3,4 to choose abilities and ctrl to use them. You can also cycle with mouse wheel. Honestly rebind 3 and 4 since those are your better abilities and 3 and 4 aren't good keys to click in panic

Is there a way to just bind the summons and your 3 and 4 to a key and not have to activate them with another key? Like, if I press 1, I have to press E to place the monster on the ground. Makes no sense to me, just instant cast it.

Still wondering about this in 2024... there should just be an option for quickcast.
