Taras Nabad fast travel soft-lock bug (Confirmed)

Be very carefull when accessing fast-travel after the crucible sword fight, as it seems that if you fast travel and get a checkpoint (secret encounter for example) you will not be able to get back to the end-zone and finish the mission.

You will get stuck on the mission "retrieve your crucible", with a waypoint into the catacomb fight and if you try to jump from the Central Power Core area into the last fight zone, you are teleported back to the Central Power Core platform.

After trying to find a way around, either you reset the mission to get back at the start (loosing all your progress) or you find another way (I guess a solution might be in the commands like for some Skyrim bugs).

I am having the exact same issue. Kind of flabergasted that no one caught this during development time. Pretty severe considering we are basically being punished for trying to 100% the map.

Just go back to the Central Power Core and jump off the back like you do in the cutscene.

Sadly it was not working. Jumping from the Central Power Core platform forced teleported me back on the Central Power Core platform. Tried from different positions, angle, loadout. In the end, I reseted the mission and went through it again.

Did you go off the back of it into the swirling blue mist like you originally do? I went up and down several times and worked fine for me.

Same place, but did not work. In your case was the mission marker properly placed? In mine it was strangely in the catacombs

Try jump from another point. In my case - it work.

My game does the same thing. So far its looking like i might have to load the previous map because that is the only thing that works

I think I had this same problem but ended up jumping off a ledge and it teleported me to the right spot allowing me to continue the level

edit: The ledge by the red pool at the end of the level, where you obtain the crucible

happens after retrieving the crucible and activating a secret ecounter. Worked like a charm both times.

maybe this helps if somethings broke - mine didn't work after numerous jumps until i went back to the main menu and reloaded from the last checkpoint (after the slayer gate for me), then it worked 1st try off the back.

can confirm it did work and i got to the bottom. jumped off behind the red pool u get crucibal in in the central power core. thank you for this thread. i really didnt wanna play the level again lol

It's doable. Happened to me too when I missed the slayer gate so I travelled back to complete it right after the sword fight. Than the waypoint was bugged in the catacombs. Teleporting back to the central power core than jumping of the platform randomly to the blue mist did not work so I got here to find help.
Jumping from behind the red pool worked. I think the trigger is there, but its small so you have to jump exactly where the slayer did in the cutscene. They should fix this.
