TAB key for maps and such stops working
Anyone else experiencing this? Wondering if it might have something to do with me playing it with Steam in offline mode. I think its 3 times now that the TAB key stopped working, no idea why. Might be the Steam overlay doing something. I noticed clicking shift tab in kept shift pressed in the game, so the Doom Guy was constantly using the dash ability while I was in the overlay looking for the FPS counter. I found a way to just enable the in game FPS counter instead.. well, as well as it is right now, I have the Steam one in the top left and the Doom one in the top right.

Pretty annoying playing through the map and not being able to use weapon upgrades. How often does the game actually save while playing? I am unsure if the game starts the map from the beginning or from the last checkpoint. So I had this problem through most of the second... or maybe it was the third... level.

Just change the key in the setting. Had to do the same

I might try that... but I think I will try disabling the Steam overlay first to see if that might be the problem.

ALT + SHIFT resolve this issue. I have the same problem

When it happens to me alt tabbing out and back in fixes it

So maybe its just the alt key that fixes it? Hmm, I will experiment a bit. I did notice at one time that the game suddenly began to accept the tab button clicks again, and I think it was after alt-tabbing out of the game and back into it.

I just tested it, its enough to just click the ALT key if TAB stops working. Strange, but guess its a simple workaround for now.

for me alt shift does not resolve the issue. The logitech software resets to the default key bindings. When I set it back to DoomEternal, tab does not work again.
If I lock the configuration than it works.

I've had it happen a number of times and I realized that if it starts happening if you press the ALT key (the one that shows your current objective) then TAB starts working again.
