Doom Eternal Game Compatibility:
Radeon RX 560X Series (Does not meet minimum requirements)
AMD Ryzen 5 2500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx (Meets minimum requirement)
Is that the same specs as your machine? I wonder if there are any steps I have missed? Downloaded the latest drivers last night before running the game.
Thank you :).
I mean, even with everything set to the lowest on my current laptop (not the Acer 5), it says something like I have 2200VRAM, but 2800VRAM is needed. I can still play the game, but clearly it is trying to tell me my machine is not up to far.
With my Acer 5, I have 8000+ of VRAM, yet the game seems to perform even worse than my other laptop. I only bought this Acer5 last year to showcase in exhibitions and have rarely used it.

It runs DE very well with most video settings on ultra nightmare.
FPS ranges from 50-70 most of the time. I may have to tweak a few things here and there since I’m entering areas/arenas that are visually more complex and noticed FPS drop into the mid 30’s in those places.
Overall, it’s really good and well worth the price. DE is the only game where I can’t run it with all video settings turned all the way up. For example, I play a lot of Quake Champions, I always have 80-144fps with video settings in ultra.
Is it this laptop? https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Notebooks/Gaming-Notebooks/77023-NH.Q53SA.006-C77?gclid=Cj0KCQjw9tbzBRDVARIsAMBplx85bAQQTZqysrucwc4plHBm6-1jzqOpdgFrAF7l7taofej8dWBBOisaAomdEALw_wcB
Now turned the steam overlay off and it makes an astonishing difference, i have yet to drop below 60fps even when the screen is packed with demons and explosions.
Haven´t been messing with any settings because i was not expecting any improvements so its all still on low/off but firstly i think i can get some settings up without any problems and second, the game still looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beautiful.
I play it in an desktop but i have also an ASUS laptop -i7 and gtx950m- and running well i think....
