Can't Play; Need Vulkan-1.dll... Help, please.
I have tried EACH AND EVERY individual - even simultaneously downloaded - recommended drivers (AMD, NVIDIA, INTEL + others), I have uninstalled and re-installed 'Doom Eternal,' I have identified and attempted to update my GPU (AMD Radeon HD 7570), and la-dee-dah-dee-dah.

Someone PLEASE offer me, as well as others who are also still dealing with this dilemma, a solid solution to this 'Missing Vulkan-1.dll' bull-crud. I really want to experience this game.

Please, and thank you.

Are you on windows linux or mac? The game currently only supports Windows right now.
I will also say your graphics card falls below the minimum specs I have seen similar posts from other users who have 1GB gpu's who have the same issue.

I'm on Windows 10. So any recommendations?
gpu could be insufficient. you can also try installing the vulkan sdk by downloading it on their website.

@vëŋđęŧŧλ6☢8

Which site are you referring to - Is it lunarg.com, or...? I can't find 'Vulkan SDK?' Could you please message me the link?

@All
Also, do you guys believe the W-10 Update (which, by the way, removed all my files) has something to do with this issue, as well?

I don't see how you can possibly run this game with only 1GB of VRAM. I only just get away with my GTX 780 with 3GB VRAM, but I have to set textures to Low (if I even try to set it to Medium, the game specifically tells me I don't have enough VRAM). I have just ordered a GTX 1660 Super 6GB, which should run the game very nicely (but NOT in 4K), and it only costs a little over £200 (or around $250 USD). Maybe think of doing the same. Hope this helps.

This is a software issue, it has nothing to do with hardware.

Something is causing the Id Launcher to crash, hence not letting the game boot.

If it was a hardware problem, the game would say so, or it would run like crap. But it would boot.

Users with recommended (or even above) rigs are experience the same problem.

I don't think that an AMD Radeon HD 7570 can run Vulkan.

Vulkan™-compatible components
AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.3 and later support the following AMD APUs and Radeon™ GPUs1 based on the Graphics Core Next architecture on Windows® 7, Window® 8.1, Windows® 10, and Linux®:

AMD Radeon™ RX 5700 Series
AMD Radeon™ R9 Series graphics
AMD Radeon™ R7 Series graphics
AMD Radeon™ R5 240 graphics
AMD Radeon™ HD 8000 Series graphics for OEM systems (HD 8570 and up)
AMD Radeon™ HD 8000M Series graphics for notebooks
AMD Radeon™ HD 7000 Series graphics (HD 7730 and up)
AMD Radeon™ HD 7000M Series graphics for notebooks (HD 7730M and up)
AMD A4/A6/A8/A10-7000 Series APUs
AMD A6/A8/A10 PRO-7000 Series APUs
AMD A6/A8/A10/FX™ 8000 Series APUs
AMD E1/A4/A10 Micro-6000 Series APUs
AMD E1/E2/A4/A6/A8-6000 Series APUs
AMD A4-1200, A4-1300 and A6-1400 Series APUs
AMD E1-2000, E2-3000, A4-5000, A6-5000, and A4 Pro-3000 Series APUs

Note the part I put in bold and underlined there.

Vulkan requires an AMD Radeon HD 7730 or higher.

I have downloaded VulkanSDK, but am not sure what to do next.

I tried to open 'Doom: Eternal' again, with the same damm "Could not find Vulkan-1.dll. Please make sure your GPU drivers are up to date" message popping up.

-_-

Some guidance, please.

You can try to delete teh vulkan files from the system32 folder, and then re-install them again.
I did it, and it didnt work, so I wouldnt waste my time doing that.

Yeah...

For AMD Vulkan appears to require a GCN 1st gen GPU or higher which didn't start until the 7730.

The 7570 was TeraScale 2 not GCN.

You need a newer GPU.

Honestly given the requirements on the store page:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti (4GB), GTX 1060 (3GB), GTX 1650 (4GB)

AMD Radeon R9 280(3GB), AMD Radeon R9 290 (4GB), RX 470 (4GB)

I would get at least one of those or better there's not much likelihood of running the game with anything lower.

Just integrated AMD Radeon HD 7730 and ran into an "Error-182" problem.

Just downloaded AMD Radeon R9 290... same error... *sigh*
ah. old mobile amd graphics. it's not good enough sorry to say. you need atleast a 9-series gtx or amd equivalent to that.
