idiot catholicos strikes again
These are not really angels, just some creatures that have an armor which remotely resembles human beliefs how angels should look like.
yes, and you only encounter one, the whole game you just kill demons till the end
Eh I don't really know if its projecting especially when things look kind of celestial. But Devil May Cry had a couple of enemies that kinda looked like angels but where in fact really high level demons. And Bayonnetta does have angels but its more like enemies were Extreme Law and Extreme Chaos more than Good and Evil.
Sandy Peterson, who is the most prolific map designer in Doom 2, is a Mormon and he basically said that doom was a cartoon where you kill demons. So if you want some sembalance of where Christians stand on Doom, why not ask him how he feels?
That's what I mean by projecting, though. Just take the game as a fictional comic shooter (which it is) and enjoy it regardless of where you stand.
Well again, projection is somewhat the same as testing belief systems. Faith is really no different than shibbolethian forum culture or pattern based judgement. You an argue that everything should be taken at an individual case which follows peer revision style thinking, but that's not really human psychology. People take short cuts, and belief informs what shortcuts to take. Projection is just "I see this, I want to test if I am right or (hopefully) wrong." Saying to not project kinda defeats the purpose to learn.
How long have you waited to use "shibbolethian" in a sentence? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
